Test Scout is a Queensland based service that helps you find driving test availability and receive alerts when earlier test slots become available. We reference Queensland Transport and Main Roads (TMR) for test availability across all driving test centres in Queensland and update our service accordingly.
What information do I need to use Test Scout?
You can view test availability and receive alerts just by signing up with an email address.
Is Test Scout affiliated with Queensland Transport and Main Roads?
No, Test Scout is not affiliated with Queensland Transport and Main Roads or any government agencies.
Can I search for tests at multiple centres?
Yes! You can search for test availability at any specific centre or across all centres within a region. This gives you maximum flexibility to find a test that suits your schedule and location preferences.
Do I need to keep my app open to receive alerts?
No, you can close the app and get on with your day. We will alert you when a test becomes available matching your search.
Booking and Availability
Does Test Scout book tests for me?
No, Test Scout only finds and alerts you to available test slots. You'll need to book or reschedule your test directly through Queensland Transport and Main Roads when you receive a notification.
What should I do when I receive a notification?
When you receive a notification about available test slots, tap the notification to view the details in the app, then visit the Queensland Transport and Main Roads website to book or reschedule your test as quickly as possible.
Technical Support
What devices does Test Scout support?
Test Scout is available as a mobile app for both iOS and Android devices. You can download it from the App Store or Google Play Store.
I'm not receiving notifications. What should I do?
First, make sure you've enabled push notifications for the Test
Scout app in your device settings. Also check that you have an
active search set up.
You will only receive alerts to one device for your account, so make
sure you are only logged in on your own device.

How do I delete my account and data?
You can delete your account at any time in the account tab of the
app. All of your data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
This includes your searches, alerts, any active search plan and
account information.
This is an irreversible action.
