Ready to get your P plates?
Getting your Ps starts with being ready for your practical driving test. If you are ready but your booking is weeks away, Test Scout can alert you to earlier driving test cancellations at your chosen Queensland centres. You choose a suitable slot and complete the booking with TMR. An alert does not reserve a test or guarantee an earlier date.

- Great for Instructors: driving instructors get free access to extras for their students, including free Boost codes, plus insights into test centre cancellation patterns. See how to get access.
How It Works
- Download the mobile app for iOS or Android.
- Sign-up for an account with an email address and password.
- Create a new driving test search, specifying your region and test centre. You can also search for test availability at any centre within a region.
- Test availability for your search is conveniently displayed in the app.
- If you choose to receive alerts, when an earlier (e.g. cancellation) driving test is found, you will receive an instant notification from the app. Tap the notification to view the test slot we've found, then from the app you can continue to the TMR website to book a new test or reschedule an existing test**.
* Your search preferences can be modified at any time from within the Test Scout app.
** Test availability is updated referencing TMR data, and as such this information is subject to change or bookings from others. If you are using the service to secure earlier tests, acting fast when receiving notifications is important to have the best chance of securing the test slot you are notified about.
Already have a test booked? With your permission, Reschedule for me can move it to an earlier time at centres you choose, within rules you set, and you only pay if we move it.
